And ISO New England won a Silver Addy for their annual report.

Lead Poisoning Prevention Illustrations
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:40AM We're working on a series of illustrations for fact sheets explaining the dangers of childhood lead poisoning and how to avoid it. We finished with the sketch phase and are on to finished drawings. Here is progress on the "Eat Healthy Foods" section to show the illustration style. The broccoli is still in sketch phase...

Failing at the '62 Center
Monday, March 1, 2010 at 09:47PM For this poster advertising an evening of death-defyingly difficult pieces for double bass, we chose a high wire theme. I was inspired by illustrator Roy Huyssen's Claude Bolling album covers from the 70's and wanted to do something anthropromorphic.

Twelfth Night Poster
Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 08:59AM Damia took portraits of the actress playing gender-bending Viola in Williams' upcoming production of Twelfth Night. To complement the 19th century setting I gave the images an aged look and created two posters, one for each side of Viola's identity. We played with the twelve characters of the title and created a contemporary type setting that allows the posters to be ganged up nicely. An assemblage of twelve posters creates a super-poster where TWELFTH NIGHT reads clearly across the image.

Laurie Anderson at Williams
Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:15AM Laurie Anderson is appearing at the Williams College '62 Center on February 26 & 27. We designed this poster using a photo that Laurie's husband, Lou Reed, took just a few days ago. Laurie herself provided the general art direction so it felt like we were collaborating with a legend!

Valley Advocate Cover
Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 02:28PM Being asked to design the Advocate's annual Halos & Horns issue is a great way to close out the year. And one more opportunity to put an exclamation point on this year's "trains good/cars bad" theme.
